For the purpose of ensuring proper and systematic training, Peerless Hospital and B.K Roy Research Centre commissioned the Nursing Institute in the year of 1994. The Institute of Nursing is recognized by Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi and West Bengal Nursing Council and is affiliated to the West Bengal University of Health Sciences.
As per Indian Nursing Council norms, the objectives of The Institute of Nursing are to prepare the graduate nurses who will :

To develop the technical skills, the students can utilize the well equipped laboratories for Fundamentals of Nursing, Anatomy, Nutrition, Maternal Nursing, Child Health Nursing, Community Health Nursing, & students can also have access to audio visual aids and computers.
A wide range of Clinical experience is offered to students at Peerless Hospital and other reputed government hospitals in Kolkata. The students are constantly guided and supervised by the faculties in clinical departments.
