Paediatrics and Neonatology for New Born Care

The Department of Paediatrics includes a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit,Paediatric Intensive Care Unit, Paediatric Ward, Paediatric Allergy Clinic, Paediatric Child Guidance Clinic, & Well Baby Clinic run by a team of well-qualified specialists. These specialists render services which include general pediatrics, immunization, neonatal surgery & specialized neonatal care.

The department has a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit which was the first of its kind in Eastern India., a state-of-the-art Paediatric ICU, and a dedicated Paediatric Ward. The Neonatal Care Unit handles premature and small-for-date neonates with life support systems like servo-controlled incubators, open care units, pulse oximeters, ventilators, phototherapy, & transport incubators.
