children. These children need proper assessment and
guidance. A child guidance clinic is the need of the
day. There are very few organized set ups in the
private or government sectors. Almost all work now
is being conducted by NGO's. The growing needs in
children and the awareness among parents,
teachers and care givers about how to help the
children adapt to mainstream lifestyle has
necessitated the need for a well organized Child
Guidance Clinic.

To identify and diagnose developmental delay in
