Theatres - 11
in numbers, with most modern and
sophisticated equipment and gadgets.
Apart from a separate emergency OT for specific & emergency accident
cases the OT complex comprises of 6
dedicated OTs for the Departments of Cardiothoracic,
Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Gynaecology, Eye and ENT.
Other OTs are utilised for cases of General Surgery,
Urology, Plastic Surgery and Gastroenterology. All the
OTs are equipped with observation rooms wahere the
patients can be observed before or after the
operations.
The OTs are maintained absolutely sterile and aseptic
with the help of
laminar flow and periodical
fumigation with antiseptic solutions.
The OT is supported by a CSSD (Central Sterilisation
Supply Department )
with the facilities of
autoclaving, chemical sterilisation and ETO.
Equipped with efficient technicians and staffs,the OT
are available round the clock. |
PATHOLOGY
AND BLOOD BANK
This department
comprising of Microbiology,Biochemistry,Clinical
Pathology, Hematology and Serology is the Diagnostic
wing of the hospital - essential for both Outpatients
and In-patients of the hospital.
More than 2000 test items can be performed round the
clock with the help of most sophisticated and advanced
instruments and gadgets. The department is open to
receive samples round the clock.Histhopathological
studies are also carried out.
A well equipped blood bank with 1000 unit capacity and
with the facility to avail fresh frozen
plasma,platelet concentrate is open round the
clock.Thorough screening of the blood for Hepatitis
B&C,VDRL,MalariaParasites,AIDS are done before the
final dispatch. |
RADIOLOGY
AND IMAGING
Facilities for
radiological investigations like special X-ray,
Skiagrams,Ultrasound, Contrast x-rays and
C.T.Scan 4th Genaration are available round the clock. |
