Psychiatry

The Department of Psychiatry provides comprehensive care for a wide variety of psychiatric disorders & psychological problems. This department also offers effective de-addiction services to help patients with alcohol and other substance abuse. It offers help to children with various developmental disorders, emotional problems and learning & scholastic difficulties.

It also has excellent liaison services with other medical and surgical departments for the interdisciplinary management of psychosomatic (mental/emotional) disorders. This includes counseling services for cardiac and surgical cases and the management of psychiatric co-morbidity in patients with physical disorders.

We also have a special Child Guidance Clinic which takes care of the special needs of children in this field. The activities at this centre include Evaluation and treatment and family counseling related to disorders mentioned bellow:
