Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation ( PMR)
treats patients with physical disabilities arising
out of various Neurological / Neurosurgical, Orthopaedic,
Rheumatological, Cardio- respiratory and other diseases. It
particularly focuses on tertiary prevention by making an
effort to minimize the consequences of various disease
entities at acute and sub-acute stages, as well as reduction
of handicap that occurs with relation to the disability, by
applying the following modes of rehabilitative management in
any combination, suitable for the individual:-
Pharmacotherapy
Invasive and Non- invasive procedures
Physiotherapy
Occupational Therapy
Speech Therapy
Orthotic & Prosthetic Management |
