National Neurosciences Centre Calcutta ( NNC ) is a joint venture project with Peerless Hospital and Neurosciences Foundation Bengal. It provides world class service in Neurology & Neurosurgery. Neurological and Neurosurgical consultation from U.K., U.S.A and Canada based doctors is available through this joint venture facility. The Department is equipped with a 19 bed dedicated Neurology ITU. 42 beds are available for indoor patients.

Recognizing its role in Neuroscience Clinical Care, The National Board of Examinations, New Delhi has recognized NNC as a Centre for Specialized training in Neuromedicine and Neurosurgery. NNC is the first non-government Institution in Eastern India, where post-graduate education in Neurology and Neurosurgery has been approved by NBE(New Delhi) for DNB training.
