Nephrology & Dialysis Unit
The Department is one
of the most advanced in this region with a team of dedicated
Specialists who provide
treatment to patients suffering from
all types of kidney diseases from acute to complicated renal
failures. This is one of the few units in West Bengal where Ultrapure water
is being used for
dialysis and the only unit where Endotoxin Tests
are done regularly. The Unit has the special facility for
isolated machines for Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C.
The department provides an extensive treatment for:
Chronic Renal failure and other chronic kidney diseases
Nephrotic and nephritic syndrome
Acute renal failure
Facilities for hemodialysis and SLED (Sustained
low-efficiency
dialysis)
